PDN’s Rob Pincus and Steve Horsman of Springfield Armory are on the range with a 9-inch barreled Springfield SAINT pistol fitted with a fixed-length SB Tactical brace. Steve first gives a summary of the complicated history of AR pistols and braces.
Rob demonstrates the original intended use of the brace as a true stabilizing brace for people with disabilities including limited mobility or strength. The brace is literally strapped to his arm. He then shows other ways to employ the brace. Steve demonstrates a few options for stabilizing and shooting the SAINT without relying on the brace.
