Description

Mission First Tactical has become a complete resource provider for ARs. Whether you want to upgrade your AR one accessory at a time or outfit the whole firearm in Mission First Tactical gear, regardless of what upper and lower or barrel length you’re running, and whether it’s an AR-type rifle, carbine or pistol, MFT accessories are worth checking out.

Rob Pincus gives an overview of his favorite Mission First Tactical rifle accessories.

BATTLELINK MINIMALIST STOCK

Rob first learned about Mission First Tactical rifle accessories through the Battlelink Minimalist Stock, a lightweight and comfortable stock that is very sturdy. Rob has used them on his personal ARs as well as student loaner guns in rifle training classes, and they’ve always performed well.

ENGAGE PISTOL GRIP

Moving forward on the gun, the next of the Mission First Tactical rifle accessories we encounter is the Engage Pistol Grip, a full-size grip. This nicely contoured grip fills the hand well because it is wider toward the base. MFT also offers a slimmer, more minimalist grip.

EVOLV OVERSIZED TAC LATCH

This is a charging handle latch that replaces the standard charging handle latch. The oversized latch allows for easy manipulation of the charging handle, especially with gloved hands.

TEKKO M-LOK RAIL

The Tekko is available in several different configurations, including different lengths, materials (plastic or aluminum), and M-LOK or KeyMod systems. Use the Tekko to attach self-defense tools and accessories such as lights and lasers to your AR.

EVOLV 5-DIRECTION COMPENSATOR

This compensator disperses gas in five distinct directions. This feature aids in wide gas flow to limit recoil and muzzle climb. It has slots all the way around.

REACT ERGONOMIC VERTICAL GRIP

The React foregrip allows the support hand to apply rearward pressure to keep the weapon shouldered to enhance muzzle control and accuracy. It contains a secure watertight storage compartment to hold extra batteries.

Won't buy any MFT components again. Bought its plastic sights and the nut just spun instead of being captured buy the plastic with low torque. Had no confidence in them after that.

I wanna talk to you about a lot of the accessories that Mission First Tactical has to offer for any of your AR 15 type rifles or AR 15 type pistols in many cases. But first the rifle stock is probably the thing you've seen the most when it comes to my work over the last probably five or six years. This minimalist stock I've really fallen in love with it. It is a very comfortable stock. It's obviously very lightweight. It does everything I really want it to do. It's been great for students. It's been on tour loaner guns. We've beat 'em up for years and run 'em on a lot of different types of rifles. And I really love this piece. This is the piece that actually got me talking to and looking at Mission First Tactical in the first place long before I ever met the people in the company or started to look at some of the other accessories they offer, which again I've had great success with and I've seen my students have a lot of success with. First thing we're gonna run into as we move forward on the gun, is there new engaged pistol grip. Now this is a full-size grip. Mission First Tactical also offers a slimmer more minimalist type grip, but this one is really swollen for a full fill of the hand. It's really nice contours. It's slimmed down at the top, so you can get your finger onto that trigger, get your finger to the magazine release, but then it comes out and it's much wider down here at the base. It doesn't have a finger groove system but it does have one little indentation there for a nice undercut for that middle finger getting up under the trigger guard. A lot of people really like this because it fills the hand. As we come up the rifle, we're gonna see their oversized charging handle latch. Their charging handle latch that releases much easier. Personally, I don't like a standard one at all anymore. You know, we're running these charging handles all the time for our reloads, for malfunction clearing, even for our administrative clearing of the gun or loading of the gun. So I definitely don't wanna go with a standard charging handle. And if you don't wanna change the entire handle you can just get one of these upgraded latches put those on your gun, you'll be good to go. Moving forward, we see this as a traditional situation to put the M-LOK system onto your gun. This is a Tekko. This is a plastic. It's a clam shell. It's designed to go around a traditional carbine with a front sight post or a front sight rail here, not a free float. We're gonna take a look at this one here in a second. And that is the free float Tekko metal rail that one's also M-LOK. These were both available in keymod if you want that option also. And then eventually we get out here to the end of the gun where we see this EvolV compensator. Now this one is a five direction EvolV compensator. I'm gonna go ahead and put this gun down, pick up this front end, the top half of this AR and we'll get right into this three port tapered EvolV compensator as well. And that takes us back to this Tekko rail. Now these are available in seven inch and 10 inch. Obviously this is a full length rail system. It's got the top rail consistently there. It's always there for you, where you put most of your accessories and then you can add, in this case with M-LOK, you can add what you want around the outside. They also do make, as I said, the keymod option. Mission First Tactical also offers this foregrip, if you like that, that vertical foregrip option also. And that does have a storage area, if you wanted to have your extra batteries or whatever you might have for your lights or lasers or whatever else you're running on your gun. Mission First Tactical has become a complete resource provider in terms of your ARs. If you wanna make upgrades one at a time or go ahead and outfit the entire thing in Mission First Tactical, regardless of what upper and lower barrel length you're running. And again whether it's a rifle, carbine or a pistol Mission First Tactical probably has something worth looking at and for me, this stock is the first thing you should check out. The minimalist stock for Mission First Tactical, then the engage, then the four ends and then the compensators, but always think about that oversized charging handle as well.
