Description

This is an expanded version of a video previously posted about the Holosun HS507K red-dot sight. The 507K is specifically designed for single-stack carry guns. Rob Pincus reviews the features of the HS507K. It is multi-reticle capable, meaning it has a 2 MOA dot, a 32 MOA circle, and you can choose to use either one separately or together as a circle-dot combination.

If you carry a single-stack gun, the Holosun HS507K is an excellent choice to add to your defensive gear. Rob uses Holosun sights on his rifles and pistols and recommends them.

This is the hollow sun Hs 507 K pistol, red.site. And it's specifically designed for single stack carry guns. Now, obviously, I'm a big fan of single stack nine millimeter carry guns. This is the sig 365 XL and it's a staggered carry kind of magazine, but it's still a lot closer to a single stack design than it is a fat or double stack design. And this is a design that I switched to for carry gun many, many years ago with the Springfield XD S four inch gun being the one that really tripped me over to single stack. And since then, I've experimented with and carried a lot of them and they all definitely benefit from their narrow design in terms of carry. But those of you who are wanting a red dot optic on there haven't been able to find narrow red dot optics. Now again, for some people, it doesn't make that big of a difference to have a wider optic on there. But this specific optic designed for the narrow platform is gonna be something that a lot of people are gonna be very interested in, especially this one from hollow sun. Uh This 507 is multi redd capable. And what that means is that it has a dot which is two moa a circle which is 32 mo A and you can choose to use either one of them separately or together as a circle dot Combination the sister model. This the 407 has a six mo A dot If you like the larger dot For defensive carry purposes, the nice thing about this one is you do get to choose and it's very easy to make that adjustment. Simply using the negative button held down for four or five seconds, it'll change. Now, this is an aluminum housing. It's an open housing design. It is IP 67 waterproof rated. It's got a side mount battery tray that uses a 1632 battery, which is good for up to 50,000 hours of constant use. And it's very easy to adjust with any small flathead screwdriver in terms of making sure that you're zeroed and you're gonna get your point of a point of impact together. Now, if you like red dot sites, this may be the perfect one for you, especially if you're carrying a single stack. The hollow sun line has been very impressive. I've been using the hollow sun line on my stage defensive rifles. I use them on my arm professional rifle that I use at the sheriff's office and certainly I've used them for a lot of demonstrations and a lot of classes and I've seen a lot of students do the same. These are rugged devices when it comes to pistol optics. If you've made the jump to red dot sites on your pistol or you're thinking about it. Consider the hollow sun 507 K.
