Forget the Flip
Rob PincusDescription
It’s also all you need, or all you should need, to get the empty magazine out of your defensive firearm. If you push the magazine release and the mag does not fall free, something is wrong with your gun, or maybe you’ve chosen a poor combination of gun and magazine.
On the range during rifle training courses, Rob sometimes sees students do a flip – they flip the gun forcefully to the side, as if the magazine needs help being ejected from the magazine well. But it really shouldn’t.
Forget the flip. Use gravity.

A little light buffing on the inside of the magwell does wonders.
