CMMG Mk4 3 Gun Rifle Overview

This is the CMMG Mark 4 3GR. It's a three gun rifle, and while I'm not a three gun shooter, I certainly can appreciate any high-quality rifle designed to be able to shoot rapidly and accurately and that's really what 3-gun shooting's all about. As you can see, I've got a low power magnified optic on it. This is adjustable from six times all the way down to 1.75. So this is gonna let me engage close-in targets as well as targets that are out to 100 or 200 yards away, full-size, human-size steel, really easily.

So, if I was interested in a patrol rifle, maybe I was interested in some kind of a home defense rifle with more capability to reach out if I lived in a very rural area, this would be an excellent choice. This is an 18-inch medium taper barrel. It's got a 14-inch KeyMod, their RKM 14 KeyMod rail. As you can see, this is set up with a fixed stock. This is the Magpul MOE stock.

It's got the MOE grip and, of course, the trigger guard. Just like all the CMMGs, it's a high quality, great foundation rifle. All of CMMGs stuff is made in-house. They're a great company with a real good quality control, real good precision manufacturing history, and a proven ability to make parts and now complete rifles. The other nice thing about this one, since it is set up for more precision and more speed, it's got a Geissele trigger in it.

It comes with a two-stage trigger right from the factory. This is a very affordably priced, ready to run rifle. The only two things on this rifle that don't come directly from CMMG are of course, the scope which I put on myself, and this oversize charging handle. Anytime I put on a magnified scope, any kind of large optic. I really like the oversized charging handle.

The fact is, I like an oversized charging handle in general while normally for a defensive rifle, I go with the Mod 4 the medium size oversized charging handle. This is the BCM Mod 3, which is larger and makes sure that I can get around the mounts and the optic itself when I need to run that charging handle. But this thing has been fired, really, less than about 20 rounds through it. I just zeroed the scope, made sure that we're in good shape. We've got a big piece of steel out there at 100 yards.

I'm gonna go ahead and throw my glasses on, put some rounds in the gun. One of the other things you're going to see here is the way this SV break. This is a again, a CMMG break, this is their SV break. You're gonna see the way it performs and allows me to keep the gun really flat. It's just a really nice shooting gun.

Pull my legs up here, get into a shooting position, stop talking and fire some rounds. Offhand, same thing. I'm gonna go ahead and put this back to about five power. And when I drop back down here, and there's a little piece of steel over there to the left, that's about a, I don't know, 1/5th, 1/6th size steal. Drop down, hit the barricade.

And no problem. Really impressed with this CMMG rifle. This is the 3GR model, Mark 4 three gunner.
