5.11 Defender Flex Pants - SPONSORED
Rob PincusDescription
Tactical Utility
When going about our daily business, there are advantages to not looking overtly “tactical” in our gear and apparel, and even more advantages to sporting gear and apparel that actually have tactical utility but don’t look like they do. The 5.11 Defender-Flex Pants fall squarely into this “discreet but functional” category.
The style Rob has been wearing is the 5.11 Defender-Flex Straight Pants. Other styles are available in the Defender-Flex line, including jeans and slim fit. He finds the pants incredibly comfortable to wear all day, including for full days on the range. The 5.11 Defender-Flex Pants look very low-key, just like pants you’d wear for any casual occasion. They are available in four subdued colors: Oil Green, Burnt, Volcanic, and Stone.
Design and Material
The 5.11 Defender-Flex Pants have a seven-pocket design, including two built-in magazine pockets that are at the top of the back of each hip, a very natural spot to reach for a magazine when doing a reload. These pockets can also be used for a cell phone, flashlight, or other similar-sized item.
The other five pockets are the traditional pockets found on jeans, including a coin pocket that really is big and loose enough to be functional.
The material is a light cotton-polyester blend, not a heavy denim material, perfect for hot summer days on the range. The material includes a 3% flex material.
Comfortable, durable, and functional clothing is what people have come to expect from 5.11, and the 5.11 Defender-Flex Pants carry on this tradition.
