All right, Rob Pincus here. We just finished up another full week on the Personal Defense Network Training tour and it was a great week. So I got to go to Nashville to the National Rifle Association's annual meetings and exhibits. Always a highlight of the year, spoke to a couple rooms full of people. We had a big lecture hall at five, six hundred people in there a few times. We gave four presentations: We talked about home defense, we also talked about defensive firearm skill development. You know, now we're back out here on the road. We've got guys teaching in Texas this week and I'm up in New Hampshire. Now, I love this place. We're at the Cheshire Fishing Game Club. I'm here being hosted for a FitShot class and for a combat focus carving class. We finished up the FitShot class today, integrating our firearms work with our fitness for personal defense. We're going to be breaking out the CMMG rifles for the rifle class. It starts tomorrow and that's going Saturday and Sunday. Now here's the thing. When we're out here on the tour we talk a lot about building training communities and this is definitely one of the places where a training community has been built. And it certainly hasn't been because of us, but I like to hope that we helped. 'Cause I remember coming up here when this was one of the old school kind of New England ranges where there was lots of skeet going on. Every once in a while, people would come out here and sight in their fonting rifles, you know once or twice a year that shoot that big rifle very little pistol, very little dynamic defensive oriented training. And now there's a lot of it going on. So it's not just personal defense network instructors but there's a lot of other instructors up here working. So I'm really proud of what they've done here. Of the board Jack, our host everything here has done really, really well. And what we're going to do is a couple of things. One, we're going to talk about crossbreed, holsters new offering for ladies purses and also for men that carry briefcase or any other kind of off body carry. We've got a great toll from them that I'm going to have Carol Craighead. And actually my daughter, Christina is going to talk to her. We took tape this at the NRA show earlier this week. So you're going to see them talk about this product. The other thing you're going to do is you're going to hear from some of these FitShot coaches these new coaches that have just completed the class you're going to hear from these guys about how they're going to be able to integrate fitness work with the firearms work safely on the range for those interested in personal defense really proud of that program and all the work that a lot of our I.C.E training instructors have done to build that program and make it what it is over the last four or five years. We've seen a lot more interest in the defensive community around fitness. And we know that FitShot is an important part of that. If you want to get in on some of these classes that are still left we have a lot of weeks left and the personal defense network training tour for 2015, lots of classes happening all across the country. We're going to be in the Midwest. We're going to be in the Southwest. We're going to be up in the mountain States the Pacific Northwest and still down in the Southeast and the mid Atlantic, several classes coming up in probably about 20 more States. So check out personal defense network.com click on the training tab learn more about the training tour, our sponsors. And of course, check out that schedule to see which course you can get into. That's going to help you meet your need to be able to defend yourself and your family in a worst case scenario. All right Carol so I want to know a little bit about this cute little purse that we have right here. Actually, the purse is the nice however it's what's inside that I want to show you, Ok This is what we call our first offender, as you can see, it's our concealed carry version of a purse I should say. And what it does is it allows you to take whichever firearm you choose to carry and put it onto this backer that we designed specifically to go in any purse that you want to carry. And that's the biggest request we have is people don't want the, the typical concealed carry purse. They want to be able to carry whatever purse that they should choose. Yeah, and brand name And change it, yeah and this is actually part of our modular system. So this allows you to remove it from the first offender put it on the bedside, back up to put it on a different product in your car, wherever you should choose, also allows you to buy additional holsters or additional holsters to put any other firearms that you have on. It fits sleekly down in your purse and it's out makes it very easily accessible where it's not rolling around your purse. Yeah that's what I was thinking, If you're anything like me I do not have an organized person by any means. And it's, you know. Exactly. I just feel around and find my lip gloss, you know? So that's yeah. Allows you to put it on and carry it, easy access, easy draw. So I was looking for a really good way for me to tie the work that I've been doing in CrossFit and kettlebell work, with the stuff that I've been doing in the shooting sports and the shooting community. I work with a lot of law enforcement officers. I've taught law enforcement officers, and I happened to work out with them as well. So we've really needed a way to kind of bring this all together. Our love for shooting, whether it's shooting sports whether it's defensive shooting, and fitness and kind of put it all into one package. And when I, when I heard about the opportunity to come train with Rob Pincus and take this FitShot instructor course or coaches course. I wanted to jump on it as soon as I heard about it, cause I think this is the best way for me to marry those two kind of worlds together. John Bartolo, firearms instructor from Middleton, Massachusetts. Two time EPF national champion power lifter. I own records in new England and Massachusetts came out here, had the opportunity to take FitShot. Excellent experience incorporating firearms and personal defense as well as fitness. Great time. I recommend it to anybody willing to get out here and have the opportunity to incorporate fitness and firearms.
