In the age of mass shooter events, the responsibility to defend yourself and your family is often a part of the discussion. But what about “other people”? What about the role as someone that chooses to be a part of the incident beyond their own personal protection, in turn risking their life to help other human beings who happen to be at the same place at the same time?
Other questions we can ask include:
- What is your role?
- Do you train for these types of situations?
- Do you have family discussions about what each of your roles are should something go sideways?
Here is a free video from PDN that helps illustrate certain tactics that you may want to consider , and much more:
And here is another related video: EVASION PLANS
So what do you think? If you have not considered this before, and whether you carry daily or not, these are important considerations that everyone should consider in today’s world. These event happen. How you and your family react? Well, quite frankly, that is completely UP TO YOU.
